Human need for quality is an inherent part of man. The means for meeting the need - the processes of managing quality - have undergone extensive and continuing change. Our institution stands for quality and excellence, based on which it has equipped itself for assessment and accreditation for quality enhancement. The College has the distinction of being the first in Mangalore University to be submit to the accreditation process conducted by the NAAC. The College was awarded Five Stars in 1999 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Following the reaccreditation process by NAAC in 2005 and in 2012 the College earned an 'A' grade. The NAAC peer team visited the college from 3rd -4th March 2017. Prof. Pradip Narayan Ghosh, Former Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University was the chairperson, Prof. A. V. Prasada Rao, Former Rector and Former Retd Professor of Chemistry, Andhra University and Dr. M. Edwin Gnanadas. Principal of Scott Christian College (autonomous), Nagercoil. were the team members. The visit was a growth promoting exercise and all stakeholders of the college got an opportunity to interact with them. We have been accredited in the fourth cycle with 'A+' grade and a CGPA of 3.65 out of 4 by the NAAC in 2017. We are engaged in an ongoing journey of continuous measurable improvements, championed by empowered teachers at all levels of the institution. Our philosophy of excellence inspires each one in this college to give their best. The hallmark of the College is therefore marching ever on wards to greater heights of progress.
