AGNES TOWARDS COMMUNITY

Agnes Towards Community conducted an awareness progamme in three different groups at three different places on 1st September,2018


GROUP 1:

The final year BBA students visited Babbukatte Government School in Kuttar for educating the pupils on Health and Hygiene.
The programme started with a prayer led by Ms. Alisha and group.Ms. Mukamba welcomed the gathering. The students educated the pupils on food and nutrition with the help of a chart. Thereafter, a skit was performed portraying the importance of health and hygiene. Quiz was conducted by Ms. Sana. Games were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners. Few sports equipment were handed over to the school. The programme was compered by Ms. Kavya and Ms. Mukamba. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sana. Mrs Chethana K.M., Assistant Professor from the department of Business Administration was the co ordinator for the programme.


GROUP II:

the III BBA students organized an awareness activity on various disasters such as earthquake, fire, and accident and also trained the students on various self defence techniques.This activity was conducted at Munnur Government School,Kuttar. The beneficiaries were students from 1st standard to 7th standard
The programme began with a prayer. Ms Vaishali of III BBA welcomed the gathering. The awareness programme was depicted in the form of mime. This activity focused on uplifting awareness among the children in order to act when any disaster occurs. After the mime ,to fill the children with joy and fun, games were conducted as well as winners were awarded a prize. Ms Vaishali proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Froidy from the department of Botany was the co ordinator of this programme.


GROUP III:

Final year B.Com students paid a visit to Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Government Higher Primary School and High School Kuppala. The students of 5th 6th and 7th standard were the beneficiaries. Ms Diveena, Ashna, Fathun took the lead and introduced the students to the gathering they also explained their intension of visiting the premises. The program began with a prayer lead by Ms Dorina and group. Ms Divya S. enlightened the students about personal hygiene in Kannada, Ms Falak translated the same information in English. The students were attentive throughout the program the students conducted games and activities for the school children. Students planted a few saplings and sowed seeds.
