St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised Mother Mary Aloysia Fourth Endowment Lecture on 02 July 2018 in the College Conference Hall. Ms. Aparna Jain, Author and Leadership Coach (CEO, Zebraa Works, New Delhi) was the speaker. She spoke on the topic "Own It: What Women do and what they should be doing".

Ms. Aparna Jain, in her address stressed how women should stand up for their rights, and make a mark in their lives. "Be connected to the outside world, invest your money wisely and get your priorities right" she said. She advised the students to think big and remain focused at all times. To realise their dreams they should be creative, they should learn, earn and live a dignified life.

An upcoming woman entrepreneur Mrs. Shilpa, was honoured with the "Ethel Prabhu Woman Entrepreneur Award" which carried a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-, sponsored by the Ethel Prabhu Foundation. Mr.Amit Prabhu son of Ethel Prabhu spoke on the occasion and urged women to come forward, showcase their talents and be successful entrepreneurs. Sr. Dr. Maria Roopa A.C., Joint Secretary of St Agnes College was the Guest of Honour and Sr. Dr. M. Jeswina A.C., Principal presided over the function. Prof. Saramma E P, the Convenor of the programme and Dr. Ita D'Souza, Co-ordinator of IQAC were present on the dias. Dr. Ita Dsouza welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.
