Course Pattern

Curricular Courses:
The College is offering the following courses in four parts for credit based semester programmes - B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.M., B.C.A., and B.S.W.

Part  I:Language - Kannada / Hindi
 
Part  II:English
 
Note: Part I & Part II in four semesters for B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com., and in two semesters for B.B.M. & B.C.A.
 
Part  III:A student shall choose one of the combinations od course of study given below for B.A. and B.Sc. Programmes

Option Code: 41. All Compulsory Courses with Dual Specialization offered in Banking, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.
 
Computer Application Subjects (B.C.A.):

Part  IV:
Indian Constitution/Human Rights/Environmental Studies
(for first and second semesters - 3 hours a week)
Women's Studies/Human Resource Management/Mass Communication Journalism
(for third and fourth semesters - 2 hours a week)
Religion/Moral Science/Value Education
(for all semesters - 1 hour a week)

Co-curricular Courses:
Honours Programmes:
Academic Oriented - Self Study Independent Project, Summer Programme under the guidance of Teacher / Group of Teachers / Departments

Extra-curricular Activities:
Extension Activities / NSS / NCC / Rangers / Sports / Community Services / Associations / Cells / Student Cabinet
Saperate Grades are Awarded for participating in the above Activities

The College is also offering Certificate and Diploma Courses organized by the Departments / Cells / Associations for which saperate Certificate will be issued

Credits:
The Programme offered to a Student is structured for minimum of 120 Credits for the Award of the Degree
The Credits are alloted to every Course of Study based on the Course Content and the Contact Hours
A Student has the option of Earning an Additional of 6 Credits, through Honours Programmes

Transfer of Credits from One College to Another will be accepted if the Criteria are fullfilled by the Candidates
