Admission
Guidelines
-
The Application form will be available in the College Office for Rs.
150/-. It must be filled completely and then registered in the college
office with Rs.50/- (cash/ postal order/ DD) within four days of the
announcement of the PUC results by the Karnataka Board.candidate must
necessarily enroll herself at least in one association/cell/club of
the college in order to earn the extra-curricular credits.

The Submit the application at the earliest along with the marks. Do
not wait for the original marks card.

Forms returned by post will not be registered, unless accompanied
by a DD/Postal Order for Rs.50/-. Forms reaching the college office
after the deadline will not be processed.

The admission committee will process the application forms and set
the dates for admission assemblies and interviews.

Such assemblies and interviews will be conducted simultaneously for
the First Semester of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBM, BCA and BSW streams.

Selection will be made on the basis of Merit and policies of the Management,
for subjects such as Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition,
English Major, Business Management, Commerce, BCA and BSW.

The original marks card of the qualifying examination should be produced
at the time of interview.

The candidate must be accompanied by one of her parents. Please take
note that a guardian can accompany the student ony if both parents
are deceased
- If
the parent fails to accompany the child, the seat will be forfeited,
even if the candidate has the merit.
- Parents
who live abroad or too far from the college and cannot attend to official
matters of the college are requested to appoint a local guardian to
act on their behalf after the admission process is completed. The
name of the local guardian must be given at the time of admission.
If the guardian does not assume his/her responsibility the parents
will be asked to take their daughter away from the college.
- Every

Documents to be produced:

PUC original marks card and one Photostat copy of the same.
- Attested
photostat copy of SSLC/CBSE marks card.
- Transfer
Certificate in original from the institution last attended.
- Conduct
Certificate (Original).
- Eligibility
Certificate from Mangalore University, Migration and pass certificates
for students coming from other states.
- Two
passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph (coloured).
- 3
copies of Caste certificate of SC/ST/Category I candidates.
Requirements
of Foreign students seeking admission :

- Eligibility
Certificate from the Mangalore University and Migration Certificate.
- Student
Visa and one set of passport copy.
- AIDS
free certificate issued by the Competent Authorities.
(Note: Admission will not be finalized unless they produce the above
said Certificates.)
Admission
and Fees:
A
candidate who appears for the interview and secures a seat will pay
all the fees in the Bank on the following day failing which she forfeits
the seat.
Course fees will be paid by students, who take up BBM/ Microbiology/
Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Statistics/B.C.A./English Major/Social
Work /Food & Nutrition (Optional).
No fees will be refunded if a student leaves the course after admission.
Students, who do not attend classes for 5 consecutive days after the
reopening will forfeit their seats.
Note:
As per Supreme Court Order, ragging in Educational Institutions is not
allowed. Any defaulter is liable to be expelled from the College.
