St. Agnes is a Grant-in-aid College.It also offers ten self-funded programmes. It was established on, 2nd July,1921, and received UGC recognition on 7th May,1981(Inclusion of Colleges under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.) It is spread over a Campus area of 5 acres in a semi-urban location in the Western Ghats, Karnataka, South India.
