    A well equipped and well managed library is indeed, the foundation stone of our modern educational structure. Education bereft of library service  is like body without soul, a vehicle without an engine and edifice, merely a collection of bricks withoutcement. Education and library are twin sisters, rather true lovers and cannot live apart from each other. Library is the life blood of college education .

There has been an exponential growth in information particularly Science & Technology in the form of books, periodicals, reports and other media. The Library enhanced its services by offering additional facilities to the students and staff. 'Information is for use and service is our motto, duty before pleasure is our aim.'

HISTORY, GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT
Established -1921

In 1987 the Library was shifted to a new building. The Library was computerized in 1997. At present the college has a total collection of 62525 books. Library follows Dewey Decimal Classification System & catalogues are generated according to the class number subjectwise. There is a separate section for withdrawn books. The library follows the Browne Charging System. New books and new book jackets are displayed once in a week to create awareness among the users. The library of this renowned college aims at developing a comprehensive collection of documents that is useful for Faculty, Students and Research Scholars in their pursuits of education and Research activities. The turn of the 20 th century for the St. Agnes Library was marked by many innovative ideas. The computerization of the Library was the most remarkable.
