To Parents:

A spirit of fellowship, and serious study is encouraged at St. Agnes College. Students will taste and enjoy the fruits of good education, by accepting the culture of the Institution. The responsibility of the parents is to familiarize themselves with the Vision, Mission, Objectives and Code of Conduct laid down by the College in the Calendar. They are exhorted to guide their wards in matters of discipline.

Every Agnesian student, represents the college and will preserve in matters of code of ethics, dress and deportment as laid down by the College. Any deviation from the expected norm will be scrutinized by the Discipline Committee and appropriate action will be taken.

Parents will be held responsible for immodest dress and unruly behaviour by their daughters.  Students on their part will treat it as mandatory to read and familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations of the College.

Parents will remember that a student is admitted to the College for only one year i.e., two semesters at a time.  She will be re-admitted the following year only if the College authorities are satisfied by her response/behaviour.

Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with the members of the staff, attend parents meet and results sessions, supervise the daily studies of their wards at home monitor their activities before and after College hours.

Parents will take note of the facts in the Semester pattern of academic life the student will not be permitted toanswer the semester examination for the following reasons:

• Shortage of attendance
• Absence at Mid-semester examination
• Deliberate disobedience of the rules laid down by the College

Let us all strive to keep up the traditions, the Vision and Mission of the College and work unitedly for a better tommorrow.
