Human need for quality is an inherent part of man. The means for meeting the need - the processes of managing quality - have undergone extensive and continuing change. Our institution stands for quality and excellence, based on which it has equipped itself for assessment and accreditation for quality enhancement. The College was awarded Five Stars in 1999 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has the distinction of being the irst in Mangalore University to be re-accredited with an 'A' Grade by the NAAC in May 2005. The NAAC peer team visited the college from 2nd -4th February 2012. Dr. Jancy James, vice chancellor of Central University, Kerala was the chairperson, Dr. Rosalie Joseph Retd. Principal of Holy Cross College, Nagercoil and Retd. Prof. Dr. Krishna Kanta Kaushik, of Shimla University, Himachal Pradesh were the team members. The visit was a growth promoting exercise and all stakeholders of the college got an opportunity to interact with them. We have been accredited in the third cycle with 'A' grade and a CGPA of 3.53 on 4 by the NAAC in 2012. We are engaged in an ongoing journey of continuous measurable improvements, championed by empowered teachers at all levels of the institution. Our philosophy of excellence inspires each one in this college to give their best. The hallmark of the College is therefore marching ever onwards to greater heights of progress.
