To continue the guiding spirit and culture among students, promoting nation building activities. 'Be Prepared' for Service is their Motto.

With the motto of rendering "Service" the RANGERS ASSOCAITION was started in St. Agnes College in the academic year 2007-08. Since then, this association has taken the charge of the celebrations of national days such as Independence Day, Vanamahotsava and Republic Day. The members have made visits to St. Antonyís Ashram and the Home for AIDS victims, Samvedana and Little Sisters of the Poor, Old Age Home, Bajjodi where they entertained them with a cultural programme. The Rangers went on trekking to Kaarinjeshwara and Tannirbavi and also participated in various intercollegiate activities, competitions and rallies.

Activities 2015 - 2016 :

Nature Club, Rangers Association and Women's cell  organised a  guest lecture on Significance of Breast Feeding and Awareness on Breast Cancer to commemorate the International Year of Breast Feding on August 08-08-2015. The Resource Person was  Dr. Aruna Kamath

Traffic Warden Squad

The Mangaluru TWS initiative has been introduced in St.Agnes College and the following 9 students from our college have enrolled for TWS.

The students were trained in traffic signalling and the traffic control by the Traffic Police at the station in Pandeshwar, Mangalore spread over for a period of ten hours for two months i.e. August and September 2015. The initiative was launched on 2nd October 2015 led by Traffic Warden Squad (TWS) and the commendable initiative led by 94-year-old Sri Joe Gonsalves to ease traffic problem in the city. This was flagged off by the Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese, Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D'Souza, followed by a march from Hampankatta junction to the Police Commissioner's Office.

The TWS volunteers are rendering services at St. Agnes Institutions Bendore, Highland junction and Bendorewell Circle after class hours. It is expected that the TWS initiative will take off more productivity in the coming years and this initiative has been appreciated by many members of society.
